Developers assigned to projects

During the last weeks this project found some more people willing to spend some time with coding.

To notto loose the track of who is doing what to help you coordinate yourself with others I do like to create a list of assigned developers here.

Anyone may just drop a reply on what part he is working (for example AMD-Patch, Intel-Patch, etc).

Reading the wiki a bit more I think I could help in the development of the module phc-est.

The motherboard I use does not acpi for the CPU. As I can see in:

jgarciad@laptop:~$ sudo modprobe acpi-cpufreq
FATAL: Error inserting acpi_cpufreq (/lib/modules/2.6.24-19-generic/kernel/arch/x86/kernel/cpu/cpufreq/acpi-cpufreq.ko): No such device

Is any work started in the phc-est module I could help in?
Could someone help to start that part?

I saw in the wiki you were looking for a motherboard with ACPI broken. So I can help on the testing too.

I have an Intel CPU Penryn T9300 which is working continuously at the highest clock frequency and at the same voltage.

hi,

testing on a defective board (dsdt) i could do also ... i'm bonded on the speedstep-centrino module because my cpu is overclocked when i use the acpi_cpufreq module.

i also wanna help in developing for intel cpus (i already submited a patch for 2.6.27-r7 gentoo-sources kernel)

so summary what i wanna do

AMD:
-testing
-maybe (in future) developing
INTEL:
- testing on a defective board (speedstep-centrino)
- developement

cheers

Hi there, I'd like to help as well. Since there are already some developers and testers out there it might be good if I start with some documentation. Please let me know if this is OK for you guys.

So long

You are very very welcome. The documentation really lags some care (my fault I guess) :)

But even if there already are developers you surely can help there, too.
So if you are up with C programming and you think you can help developing too you could do a lot.

Greetings
