Re: How is PPA going?
Nice one. So I can upgrade safely to Ubuntu 9.10 now and use the kernel "2.6.31-14.48~phc0" from the PPA (https://launchpad.net/~linux-phc/+archive/ppa)? I'm currently using kernel "2.6.28-15.50~undervolt2".

Re: PHC on Ubuntu 9.04
I got a problem for several weeks now and since noone else apparently suffers from it, I'll post/ask it. I had been using the undervolt kernel from https://launchpad.net/~linux-phc for several months without a problem. On one day (forgot what date) Ubuntu released another generic kernel image # unam...

Re: phc-intel-0.3.2-4 patch fails with 2.6.30-rc3-git1
If you like you are free and extremely welcome to adapt the patches to future versions and I will add them to the off-tree package. It would be great if it could be patched for kernel 2.6.26 because it's the kernel used in the latest stable Debian ;) You can find the 2.6.26 patch here: http://www.l...

Re: PHC on Ubuntu 9.04
It should have, but it didn't.
I changed nothing specific after the upgrade so I don't know what was wrong.
On a (very) happier note I got phc to work at last
using (the patched - extracted the patch from the *-off phc package) acpi-cpufreq built-in.
So yay!

Re: PHC on Ubuntu 9.04
I hope the "old way" is working for you. Nope, it didn't. Whenever I try to insert acpi-cpufreq I get a FATAL ERROR "Device or resource is busy" I'll recompile the kernel (again) but now with the (patched) module built-in. That should work, shouldn't it? I certainly hope so or I'll spend even more ...
