I think my 2.6.37 update also applies to 2.6.38, but that's if you want to patch the upstream code directly instead of using a separate module. See here.

I don't know, I don't use Ubuntu. This patch is for people that build their own kernels. If you want to do that on Ubuntu I guess you have to install the right source and development packages. Or something. Easiest for other people is to use the kernel module variant as a proper Debian/Ubuntu packag...

Thank you! After posting I searched for one and came up with the Runcore from memoryc too as the best option. There are good SLC Disk on Moduless that should fit, but they're up to 16GB and too expensive.

Linux 2.6.37

Hi,

I patch the kernel directly instead of replacing acpi-cpufreq because I avoid using modules. There is a small reject when applying the phc-intel-0.3.2-12-1 patch to 2.6.37, the fixed version I use is attached below.
