Re: writing /cpu0/phc_controls

I would do, if I had the time for stuff like this. I've started studying again (Master, Electrical Engineering), and there is simply no time for projects like coding and playing with hardware. At the moment not even the stuff I would like to do for myself. Sorry. But I really appreciate your ...

Re: writing /cpu0/phc_controls

Yeah, thanks for the infos. By now I know that it is working, because if I try to undervolt more than ~0,25V I get a freeze. So at the moment I am undervolting 0,224V on every step. Thats nearly an Pentium-M-LV. CPU Temperature fell from ~65°C/82°C Idle/Full to 59°C/70°C. That's pretty coo...

I tried to find something in the datasheets but had no luck. Finding informations for PIC/ATMEL Controllers is much easier than finding stuff ...

Re: writing /cpu0/phc_controls

Thanks for welcoming, Yes, it seems to work. I can write /phc_controls. But I don't know if somethin really happens. I have to run some tests first. Is there another way to prove the VID to be sure that the cpu is really running on lower voltage, or do I have to test over the acpi power measurement?...

Re: writing /cpu0/phc_controls

I tried gedit and had no luck. nano gives: [Error writing /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/phc_controls: Invalid argument ] I think I'll try the older Version that can be downloaded here. Maybe this one works for me. /Edit: I just compiled and installed 0.3.2. Here I can use "echo xy | tee" and ...
