Hey. I also acquired an SU, specifically the SU7300. I ran the linux-phc-optimize script to discover the lowest VID s. I ended up with 0 for both frequency steps. I'm not sure if it's working, since the processor isn't recognized by phctool . Despite setting the VID s 0 for the steps, read_msr.py --...

That's right, truly successfully story.
Managed a ~22% undervolt, resulting in over less 10 degrees Celsius both idle and load!

Permanently change VIDs

Hey,

Thanks a lot for this module!
I've successfully managed to discover my lowest VIDs for every frequency, but I notice that upon reboot, the VIDs go back to the default.

How can I make them permanent? Echoing to phc_controls and phc_vids @ boot?
