Just wondering.. pcie_aspm=force kernel parameter doesn't help at all for you, or doesn't help much?

I just posted up a patch (to PHCTool-0.5.2-2) a few minutes ago to do just that :D http://linux-phc.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=111 Should work for you without any further modifications, and it won't let you "overvolt" accidently :) For monitoring temperatures, I use sensors-applet 2.2.1 in Gnome...

Yes, I'm actually on 32-bit :oops: Though on Ubuntu, but same dpkg version of msr-tools (1.1.2-1)
